Joined Forces
Europeana has joined forces with Europa Nostra and the European Museum Academy for the promotion of the multimedia competition Heritage in Motion, which seeks to reach out to new audiences. Representatives from the three organisations gathered to celebrate this new partnership at Europa Nostra’s headquarters in The Hague on 15 February 2016.
Winners announced of the Heritage in Motion Awards 2015
Brescia, Italy, 8 May 2015. During the annual conference of the European Museum Academy, held in the Museum Santa Giulia in Brescia, the winners of the second Heritage in Motion Awards were announced.

The winners of the Heritage in Motion Awards will be announced at the Museum Santa Giulia in Brescia, Italy on Friday 8 May 2015, at the annual conference of the European Museum Academy.
Winners announced of first Heritage in Motion Awards
Bologna: City of Water and it’s producer Studio Base2 won the Best Achievement Award for this new multimedia competition on European Heritage.
New Multimedia Award for Cultural Heritage
The winners of the Heritage in Motion Awards will be announced at the Burrell Collection in Glasgow Friday 25 April 2014. The first Heritage in Motion Awards will be presented at the annual conference of the European Museum Academy, this year in Glasgow with the co-operation of Glasgow Museums and Glasgow Life. Plácido Domingo, president of Europa Nostra, promotes the importance of inspiring and encouraging especially young Europeans to take an interest in culture and cultural heritage.
Finalists 2014 Announced
This year marks the birth of a new award, an award to highlight multimedia use at cultural heritage in Europe -The Heritage in Motion Awards. This competition will give a stage to the creators and producers of films, games, apps and websites on themes related to Europe’s heritage, cultural and natural, tangible and intangible.
Heritage in Motion
Europa Nostra and the European Museum Academy have taken the joint initiative to launch the Heritage in Motion Festival. These two founding partner organisations felt the need to gather the best multimedia products and achievements at a European Festival, focussing specifically on themes related to the safeguarding and promotion of Europe's heritage.
