Bologna City of Water is a multimedia installation in one of the exhibition rooms of the new Museum of the History of Bologna that shows the reconstruction of a canal that flows in the dark under the streets of the city, using an interactive multimedia projection on the floor and a series of video clips projected on holographic screens.

The purpose of the music video is to show how universal music is and how easy it is to integrate music of the Balkans, Sirtos, Flamenco, Rock and even Symphonies with the ones from any village of Bursa, even if it is only played with simple instruments such as copper water jugs… This video also aims to show how easy it becomes for people from different cultures to unite around music and that intangible cultural heritage is shaped around people.

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to observe the city at my own pace and communicate my observations through the medium of film. These videos depict both ancient and modern aspects of Dublin’s heritage, and are an honest representation of the city in 2015.

The Utrecht Archives developed an interactive carriage ride for visitors of the exhibition Big wigs, low culture. This exhibition is part of the city event Treaty of Utrecht, 300 years. The aim of the virtual carriage ride is to let visitors feel and think they are taking a ride in a coach through the historical city of Utrecht, to really let them experience the city in the 18th century. The combination of physical movement, moving pictures, décor, atmosphere and a beautiful story based on historical sources, make a unique experience of past times.
