For the first time, the German Archives Portal “Archivportal-D” financed by the German Research Foundation (DFG) offers centralized and comprehensive access to the records of various kinds of German archives. The portal is a national aggregator for the European Archives Portal and contributes to the process of making European archival records accessible for everybody at any time and from anywhere.

The Cyprus University of Technology Library, responding to its social role in the preservation and enhancement of cultural heritage has recently completed various historical collections digitization projects. One of the main goals of these projects is the preservation and enhancement of the value of the cultural heritage of Cyprus, presenting the history, the traditions and the customs of Cyprus internationally. The Library, in cooperation with various institutions of the country, is actively involved in the recording and digitization of cultural heritage content, while at the same time is providing an advisory role in digitization. www.tanzfonds.de is the website for the promotional fund TANZFONDS ERBE, which the German Federal Cultural Foundation launched in 2011 in order to finance artistic projects dedicated to the cultural heritage of dance. The agency in charge of the fund is the non-profit company Diehl+Ritter gUG. The Website brings together a wealth of documentary information. This video documentation offers an insight into how a contemporary approach to intangible heritage can look. It provides journalistic and academic contributions to the heritage debate as well as helpful tools for choreographers. Its target audience is the general public as well as dance scientists, dance artists and other experts.
