    The film tells a story of the Bonga Castle. BONGA CASTLE is an exciting, even peculiar sight in the heart of the idyllic small town of Loviisa, immediately south of the church. Its original design was made by Mr. Th. Hjelt, an architect from Helsinki. After the Finnish civil war, the house ended up owned by the Baumgartner family. Its Jugendstil from with its red roofed towels was modified according to the design of architect Hilding Ekelund into a granite castle along the lines of Italian neo-Classicism and functionalism.

    Bonga castle is an inspiring gallery of the professor, artist Riitta Nelimarkka. It is located in the little coastal city of Loviisa, Finland, 1 hour drive east of Helsinki. The building has been renovated into a studio and an art museum-gallery that welcomes the people of any age. The Bonga website invites public to explore art and visit this peculiar, historic place.     The Utrecht Archives developed an interactive carriage ride for visitors of the exhibition Big wigs, low culture. This exhibition is part of the city event Treaty of Utrecht, 300 years. The aim of the virtual carriage ride is to let visitors feel and think they are taking a ride in a coach through the historical city of Utrecht, to really let them experience the city in the 18th century. The combination of physical movement, moving pictures, décor, atmosphere and a beautiful story based on historical sources, make a unique experience of past times.  As soon as the carriage doors close, a film starts behind the carriage windows.     The Bandritzer 561 is a mobile time capsule, designed for a cultural heritage festival in the province of Gelderland. It takes the audience on a trip through nine different moments in the province’s military history. The Bandritzer is a transformed sea container filled with film and audio. During the festival, the Bandritzer was installed at 26 different festival locations. Over 10,000 visitors took a ride.

    The Glagolitic script, as well as Glagolitic tradition, is a Croatian cultural phenomenon unique for its linguistic, graphic, ethnological, anthropological and semiotic characteristics. In 2014, following the decision of the Ministry of Culture, the Glagolitic script was inscribed into the list of intangible cultural heritage of the Republic of Croatia. Creation of murals brings Glagolitic script closer to digital age. Jasna Horvat is the creator of glagolitic murals design and the author of AZ, a novel which directly influences further research into cultural heritage. The Faculty walls covered by Glagolitic script became a canvas for inscribing messages in this old Croatian script. …
